As a Digital Public Good, smart release management is critical to ensure that all implementers can quickly and easily benefit from product upgrades. Therefore we have written this blog post regarding what we have learnt so far releasing OpenCRVS and how we propose to manage releases going forward. This approach aligns with our latest release OpenCRVS v1.1.0-stable. This release contains important backup and security improvements, migration support and miscellaneous bug-fixes. We would be very interested to hear your views on our release process and any other releasing challenges DPGs currently face which we should consider.
